The winner of the match will take on Delhi Capitals women in the WPL 2023 final on March 26. DC-W reached the final directly after finishing at the top of the table in the league stage.
MI-W finished second on the points table with five wins from 8 matches. The franchise won their first five matches on the bounce and then lost its next two games. One of their losses was against the UP Warriorz. They beat RCB-W in their final league game to finish second on the table.

UP Warriorz on the other hand, had a mixed bag. They won some really close matches from really impossible positions. The side ended third on the table with four wins and as many losses. They won one and lost one against the MI-W. Gujarat Giants losing their last two games on the trot meant it was a safe passage for the UP-W through to the knockouts. RCB-W were already eliminated after losing five matches on the trot.
