After having a disappointing day with the bat in the first innings the Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians Women have bounced back strong in an attempt to defend the 127 runs on the board against UP Warriors in the 15th fixture of the Women’s Premier League 2023.
Star all-rounder Hayley Matthews provided the team with the early breakthrough as she managed to dismiss Devika Vaidya within the powerplay. Mumbai Indians have been undefeated so far in the tournament and will be looking to continue their winning streak as a top finish on the standings will give them direct qualification into the WPL finals.
