At the end of 8 overs, RCB Women’s score was 72-1 where Ellyse Perry’s score was 32 runs in 19 balls whereas Sophie Devine was on 36 runs in 23 balls. Sophie Ecclestone was bowling the 9th over and on the 2nd ball of the over, Ecclestone went around the wicket and cramped Sophie Devine for room and thrashed her stumps. This is a huge wicket for UP Warriorz as Sophie Devine was looking threatening. RCB Women’s score at that time was 73-2.

Critical Phase for RCB Women

RCB Women would be banking on Ellyse Perry to get a significant score as we have seen that it’s not easy for a new batter to go berserk. RCB Women should try to get a score in excess of 180 which would give them a psychological advantage over UP Warriorz as they have got a long batting lineup.

UP Warriorz skipper  Alyssa Healy would be aware of the fact that the star batter Heather Knight is yet to come where she can play a breezy knock for the team. Alyssa Healy needs to use Deepti Sharma smartly as the spinner has the knack of picking wickets in quick succession.
