“I’m Just Going To Keep Looking To Impress Whenever I Get A chance”- Alex Hales

Alex Hales who will surely be looked like an option for the England team following his good run at the BBL will have to pass through the drug test to get his international campaign back on track. He was picked earlier for the WorldCup but then was dropped owing to a 21-day ban for the opener for failing a drug test.

He has also mentioned that he will be happy to contribute to the country whenever he gets a chance but doesn’t want to put weight on it and lose the enjoyable moments.

“This is definitely the best I’ve played, I feel like it’s in the peak of my career. I’m 32 now and I feel like I know my game really well, and I’m just going to keep looking to impress whenever I get a chance. Particularly in T20 cricket, the older you get the more you understand what your strengths are,” stated, Alex Hales.

T20 Experience Around The Globe Helping Hales

Alex Hales who has plenty of T20 experience around the world playing for different sides has also told that he stopped playing red-ball cricket since 2017 which has helped him to work on his white-ball skills. He also pointed that with his age moving up, he has grown in finding his strengths and converting his starts into impact performances.

I think the experience you get in T20, playing in different conditions, you’re always improving and I guess since I’ve stopped playing red-ball cricket (in 2017) it’s given me a lot more time to focus on my white-ball skills,” he added.
