Gujarat Titans are one of the 10 teams participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They are based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and play their home games at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
India's Shubman Gill is the current captain of the team while former India fast-bowler Ashish Nehra is the head coach. They won the IPL in 2022 and became only the second team after Rajasthan Royals to win the title in their debut season.

Gujarat Titans - Season-wise performance in IPL:
Gujarat Titans made their debut in the IPL in 2022 and announced their arrival in style by going all the way. Playing under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, the Ahmedabad-based franchise won the title by beating Rajasthan Royals in the final.
Gujarat Titans performed dominantly throughout the tournament. They won 10 of the 14 league games and finished the league stage at the top of the points table. In the first qualifier, the Hardik Pandya-led side beat Rajasthan Royals before beating the same opponents in the title-decider. Captain Pandya led his team from the front and was adjudged Player of the Match for his bowling figures of 3/17 and his 34-run knock from 30 balls.
In 2023, Gujarat Titans performed well once again. For the second season in a row, they finished the league stage at the top of the points table. They were on the verge of becoming the first IPL team to win the title in their first two seasons. However, the Titans suffered a loss against Chennai Super Kings in the final.
Ahead of the 2024 season, the Titans were forced to name a new captain after Pandya left the franchise to join Mumbai Indians. He was replaced by Shubman Gill and the latter struggled to make an impact as a captain in his first captaincy season. Under Gill's captaincy, Gujarat Titans finished at the 8th spot in the table and missed out on the playoffs for the first time.
