DC vs MI: Watch - Piyush Chawla gives a flying kiss send-off to Jake Fraser-McGurk after ending his dangerous innings

Delhi Capitals (DC) batter Jake Fraser-McGurk set the stage on fire in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game against Mumbai Indians (MI). The 43rd game of the tournament is taking place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk, who opened the innings for Delhi Capitals in the ongoing game against Mumbai Indians, made a mockery of the five-time champions with his brutal batting skills. The Australia batter went from the word go and made a mockery of the opposition. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk made sure that he took Delhi Capitals off the flying start. He frustrated Mumbai Indians bowlers, who had no clue what to do. The opening batter slammed bowlers all over the park and made sure that his team got 100 runs as quickly as possible at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk hardly put a foot wrong in his innings and it seemed that Mumbai Indians had no answers to the carnage by him. The opening batter brought up this third half-century and even after that he continued going great guns even after that. 

However, his stay at the crease was cut short by Piyush Chawla in the 8th over. The leg-spinner bowled a length delivery, wrong'un, on the middle leg to which the batter was cramped up for the room. Jake Fraser-McGurk looked back to heave it away over deep mid-wicket but the ball hit the inner part of the bat and was caught in deep. 

As he got out, there was a sense of relief in the Mumbai Indians camp. Piyush Chawla, who removed him, looked absolutely furious and gave the batter a flying send-off after he removed Jake Fraser-McGurk at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi

With the way, Jake Fraser-McGurk was batting, it seemed that he would slam a brutal century. The batter played a sensational innings of 84 runs off just 27 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 311 and also hit 11 fours and 6 sixes in his innings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Jake Fraser-McGurk with his brutal innings against Mumbai Indians in the ongoing game, entered the record books. He joined the list of the highest percentage of runs in boundaries in an IPL innings (50+ runs). This was the second time he entered the list. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk in the ongoing innings had a 95.23 boundary percentage in his innings. In the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier this season, he had a boundary percentage of 95.38 in his innings.
