GT vs RCB: Watch: Mohammed Siraj loses his cool, reacts furiously after Will Jacks drops catch against GT

Mohammed Siraj was absolutely furious after Will Jacks dropped a catch on his bowling in the ongoing game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The incident took place in the 19th over when the right-arm pacer was bowling to Sai Sudharsan. On the first ball of the over, Sudharsan played a ramp shot for a six. Mohammed Siraj could have had the last laugh on the very following delivery. However, Will Jacks dashed his hopes by failing to hold on to a tough catch.

Mohammed Siraj bowled a full-length delivery and Sai Sudharsan went for a big swing. However, he ended up miscuing the shot towards the cover region. Will Jacks, who was standing at backward point, came running in and put in a dive but failed to catch the ball. Mohammed Siraj was absolutely furious with the dropped catch and did not shy away from venting his frustration.

Talking about the game, Gujarat Titans finished their innings on 200 for 3 in 20 overs after being asked to bat first. They started poorly and lost the wickets of both their openers - Wriddhiman Saha (5) and Shubman Gill (16) - cheaply. However, half-centuries from Sudharsan and Shahrukh Khan helped GT recover and post a competitive total.

Sudharsan remained unbeaten on 84 off 49 balls. On the other hand, Shahrukh scored 58 runs from 30 balls. David Miller also played a crucial cameo of 25 not out.

"First time I have come out to bat 4 (in IPL.) Before the game Ashish Nehra told me I might bat at 4, so was prepared in the bus itself. The first over spun a bit, the pitch dried up. The wicket is spinning but 200 is a good score," said Shahrukh.

"I just had to step out and hit straight. Have been working in the nets with our coaches. Good to play along with him (Sai Sudharsan), we have a good relationship. I think so, 200 is enough. It's important to bowl well and restrict them," he added.
