Biratnagar Super Kings vs Lumbini All Stars Match Preview – Lumbini All-Stars will be looking to extend their winning start in the ongoing Nepal T20 League when they take on Biratnagar Super Kings in the first match of Sunday’s (December 25) doubleheader.

The much-anticipated tournament finally got underway on Saturday with the match between Kathmandu Knights and Pokhara Avengers. The tournament was originally scheduled to be played in September 2022 before it was postponed to December by the Cricket Association of Nepal.

A total of six franchises are taking part in the inaugural edition of the Nepal T20 League, which is Nepal’s first-ever ICC-recognised T20 competition. The entire competition is being held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Nepal T20 League will follow a round-robin format before the top four teams make it to the playoffs. The final is scheduled to be held on January 10.

Biratnagar Super Kings:

Biratnagar Super Kings will be looking to start their campaign in the Nepal T20 League with a win on Sunday. The Biratnagar-based outfit has the likes of Sikandar Raza, Andre McCarthy, and Rohit Paudel in their ranks and would be confident of putting up a good show.

In Hussain Talat, they have another player who has international experience. Talat has represented Pakistan in 1 ODI and 18 T20Is with his last appearance coming in February 2021.

Lumbini All-Stars:

Lumbini All Stars will enter the match with a lot of confidence after the convincing win in their first game of the tournament. They thrashed Far West United by 67 runs to start their season on a solid note.

Sri Lanka’s Lahiru Milantha (60) and their marquee player Dipendra Singh Airee (35) starred with the bat to power their team to 152 for 7. The All-Stars bowlers then came up with a solid display to bowl out United for just 85 with Airee picking up 3 wickets for just 6 runs.
