PAK vs NEP: WATCH - Aasif Sheikh Takes An Excellent Diving Catch To Send Fakhar Zaman Packing

Pakistan and Nepal are currently locking horns in the first game of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 at Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. The hosts were off to the worst possible start as Fakhar Zaman departed early to leave his team tottering.

Fakhar Zaman, who of late has been going through a rough patch, yet again failed to set the stage on fire. The southpaw had a cautious start and also struck some staggering boundaries. But he failed to cash on the start he got and was back in the hut for a low score.

During the 6th over Nepal bowler KC Karan bowled a length ball angling away. Fakhar Zaman tried to slash it but he managed to get the outside edge. The ball went wide of the keeper Aasif Sheikh but he timed his dive to perfection and completed a staggering catch.

Fakhar Zaman scored 14 runs off 20 balls and also smashed three fours in his innings. He stitched 21 runs opening partnership with Imam-ul-Haq. Since the last few games, Fakhar has been getting out for low totals and would be hoping to turn around things in the next game.

After Fakhar Zaman, Pakistan were dealt with another blow as his partner Imam-ul-Haq was too back in the hut. The left-hander was involved in a mix-up with skipper Babar Azam and saw him getting run out for 5 runs. The hosts lost 2 quick wickets for 25 runs.
