PSL 2024: "I Don't Swing Both Ways.."- Aaqib Javed Left Stunned By Actor Adnan Siddiqui's Comments

The highly-anticipated Player Draft for PSL 2024 took place in Lahore on Wednesday (December 14) as the six franchises finalized their squads for the next edition of the tournament. During the event, an unusual incident took place when Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui who was hosting the event came up with a bizarre comment for Aaqib Javed.

The former Pakistan pacer attended the Player Draft for Lahore Qalandars. He currently serves as the head coach of the Lahore-based outfit in the PSL. Talking about the incident, Siddiqui decided to ask Aaqib Javed about his team’s plan for the Draft in an unusual manner.

Siddiqui began by bizarrely praising Aaqib Javed’s hair during his playing career and disclosed that he focused more on his hair than his bowling.

“I was a huge fan of his. More than his bowling, I used to notice his hair. The way he ran, his hair would go left and right. Just like that, his deliveries were also like that – sometimes left, sometimes right. So, will we see a bowler like him this time too?” Siddiqui asked.

Aaqib Javed was clearly taken aback by the comment and his first reaction said it all. As Siddiqui gave him the mic to speak, the former cricketer said: “I had heard these lines before but only from girls, you are the first man.”

Aaqib Javed and Lahore Qalandars eyeing third title in a row:

Aaqib Javed-coached Lahore Qalandars will be eyeing their title title in PSL when the next edition gets underway. The Lahore-based outfit was one of the worst-performing teams in the first four seasons of PSL as they failed to make it to the playoffs.

They finally advanced to the playoffs in 2020 and went on to finish as runners-up. In 2021, they once again crashed out at the league stage before winning back-to-back PSL titles in 2022 and 2023. The Qalandars have made a strong team for PSL 2024 too and will be keen to defend their title.
