Shane Watson praises Virat Kohli:

Virat Kohli has been receiving praise from all over for yet another brilliant knock in IPL 2024 and Shane Watson has also complimented him for the same. Speaking on Jio Cinema, the former allrounder highlighted that Virat Kohli made the most of the reprieves he got early in his innings, saying that PBKS allowed him to get going. Watson also talked about Kohli's brilliant effort to run out the dangerous Shashank Singh.

"They got some opportunities early as Virat Kohli was dropped twice. This allowed him to get going in his innings and he batted so beautifully once he capitalized on those chances," Watson said.

"In the field, they made a couple of little errors, but you could see the intensity crank up in the field when they needed it to. Some great catches and a great run-out from Virat Kohli to get Shashank out," he added.

With five wins and seven defeats, RCB are currently in the seventh spot in the points table. They have won their last four games and would be looking to win the remaining two league games as well to stay in the playoff race. One defeat will be enough to knock them out of IPL 2024. The Faf du Plessis-led side will be taking on Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings in their last two league games.
