Fans on Twitter reacted after India and Rajasthan Royals (RR) spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was taken to the cleaners in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The 50th game of the tournament is taking place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. 

A couple of days after getting picked for the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal had a forgettable outing in the Indian Premier League. The Sunrisers Hyderabad batters were all over the spinner at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. 

Yuzvendra Chahal was first hammered by Travis Head in the 9th over as he was hit for 18 runs. After that, it was Nitish Reddy, who went berserk in the 13th over and made mockery of the leg-spinner at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. 

Nitish Reddy hit Yuzvendra Chahal for 21 runs. The thing got even worse for him as in his last over the leg-spinner was hit for 16 runs. He was one of the main reasons by Rajasthan Royals struggled to restrict runs in the middle overs and were under pressure. 

Yuzvendra Chahal returned with the figures of 0/62 in his quota of 4 overs. The Rajasthan Royals spinner will be making his India return in the T20 World Cup 2024. His performance might have given some tension for the Indian team with the World Cup around the corner.

Yuzvendra Chahal has been struggling to get going in the last 4 IPL games. The power has given away 205 runs for just 2 wickets. He was picked in the Indian team ahead of Ravi Bishnoi, who has been consistently performing for the team in the tournament.
