Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, on Tuesday, announced his retirement from all forms of professional cricket. The announcement came after Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) last game of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). After the announcement, Watson came up with a string of pictures and shared his entire cricketing journey through it.

Notably, Chennai Super Kings have had a very poor IPL 2020 campaign. The team finished second-last in the points table and was heavily criticized for its performance. Fans and cricket experts were more critical of the senior players in the team as they did not step up to the mantle and Shane Watson was among them. After having announced retirement from international cricket way back in 2016, Watson has now pulled the curtains down on his professional cricket career.
