However, it was a great start by Bangladesh in the final after they somehow managed to make it to the summit clash of the tournament.

India was quite brilliant in Asia Cup 2018. However, it was Liton Das who put them off with a superb knock on Friday. He thrashed the Indian bowlers all around the stadium. Meanwhile, Bangladesh couldn’t quite keep the momentum towards the end overs and kept losing wickets on a consistent basis.

From there on, few quick wickets fell which helped India gain the advantage yet again. It was a splendid piece of all-round performance by India after they bagged the wicket of Mehidy Hasan. It was Kedar Jadhav who bagged the wicket.

Later, it was Yuzvendra Chahal who bagged the wicket of Imrul Kayes. Kedar Jadhav again came into action and bagged the most important wicket of Mushfiqur Rahim. It was a brilliant piece of fielding display by Ravindra Jadeja which sent back Mohammad Mithun.

Meanwhile, it was Kuldeep Yadav who bagged the five-wicket in the form of Mahmudullah’s wicket. It was Jasprit Bumrah who ran quite brilliantly in the deep and took a sensational catch in the deep. It was a much-needed wicket at a crucial juncture of the game which again pushed Bangladesh to the backfoot.
