David Warner and Kane Williamson have wore different caps for their national teams. And while the duo combine to ply their trade for the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), they become a force to reckon with. From scoring runs for the franchise to leading the side, David Warner and Kane Williamson have done it all.

It would be an unfair to compare Kane Williamson and David Warner as captains as the former is clearly a cut above his Australian counter-part. He also led his national team to the World Cup 2019 final while Warner has been a deputy captain for Australia and led the Hyderabad outfit to their maiden title in 2016.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: Both the players have done really well

Fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has recovered from sports hernia surgery to add steel to the formidable India bowling line-up ahead of the T20 World Cup in Australia this year. He has shared the SRH dressing room with Kane Williamson and David Warner. In an interaction with the Times of India, he opened up about their captaincy styles.

“I think both the players have done really well for SunRisers Hyderabad and given it their all for their teams cause,” Bhuvneshwar Kumar said.

“Both the players led from the front as captains and I am sure it will continue in that way in whatever capacity these guys play. Also, I don’t see much difference in approach, but all I know is they are willing to do everything for the team,” he added.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar underwent rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). He would have missed the initial matches for the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 if the tournament would have got underway as per schedule.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has 132 ODI wickets to his name. He has picked 63 Test and 41 wickets and is an integral part of the Indian cricket team across all formats.
