All eyes will be on Sanju Samson when India take on Bangladesh in the forthcoming T20I series. The highly-rated batsman has finally got a second chance to prove himself at the international stage. Sanju Samson is no stranger to playing for India. He had earned his maiden India call-up way back in 2014 when he was just 18.

The stylish batsman was included in the squad for the England tour but he could not make his debut. In the following year, he made his debut against Zimbabwe but was dropped after that tour which started the long wait for another call-up from the national team. With skipper Virat Kohli rested for the series, Sanju Samson is set to be a part of the playing eleven for the series.

Only time will tell how the Kerala star’s international career turns out. But as far as the batsman himself is concerned, he has some big plans for the future. The right-handed batsman has said he wants to win the World Cup with India.

“I understand my game better now. I can gauge what the opposition is thinking during a game. It has come through the experience of playing a lot of games. Obviously, I am much more relaxed now when I step out onto the field. I have grown as a cricketer as well as an individual now,” added the batsman who led India in the 2014 U19 World Cup.
