Harbhajan Singh Comes Up With A Cheeky Reply To Virender Sehwag

The swashbuckling opener Virender Sehwag and the veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh engaged in friendly banter on social media. The opener Sehwag, in his ever cheeky attitude, claimed that he punished Spinners without much fuss during his career. Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh entered to remind Sehwag that every spinner is not a Pakistani.

Not every spinner is a Pakistani – Harbhajan Singh to Virender Sehwag

Sehwag, who was well known for his destructive batting style, shared a TV commercial with the caption – “Maine toh bas 14-15 saal spinners ko Chipkaya, par yeh to 60 saal se Chipka rahe hain !” which roughly translates to “I smashed spinners for 14-15 years, but this adhesive has fixed things for past 60 years”.

Harbhajan got here up with a tongue-in-cheek reply, saying: “Viru teri Pakistan ke khilaaf average 91 thi, par har spinner Pakistani nahi hota. (Your average was 91 against Pakistan but not every spinner is a Pakistani).”

Well, this is the third time in last one week where Harbhajan Singh made news on the headlines vowing to social media. The flamboyant cricketer was first on the news following his congratulatory tweet to Jasprit Bumrah, who became the third Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in Test cricket.

Following it,  he engaged in a Twitter banter with former Australia wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist regarding the spinner’s legendary hat-trick at Eden Gardens in 2001. It all started when a fan tried to troll Adam Gilchrist, who in reply highlighted the lack of DRS during those days.

However, it didn’t sit down well with Harbhajan Singh, who gave a harsh reply to Adam Gilchrist. Meanwhile, the fans came in support of Adam Gilchrist, which made Harbhajan Singh delete his tweet.

On the work front, currently, Virender Sehwag is away from any particular role in the game of cricket. Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh is plying his trade for Chennai Super Kings.
