Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has accompanied Indian National Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli on various tours since they tied the knots in 2017. Meanwhile, it is likely that she will accompany Kohli during India’s world cup campaign in England and Wales.

While the pinnacle event will begin from May 30 with England and South Africa taking on each other, the men in blues will commence from June 5 against the Proteas.

India’s most loved couple- Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied knots in a private ceremony in Florence (the capital city of Tuscany) Italy. Only close friends and family attended the event which took place on December 11, 2017. Soon after the event, the couple posted a pic of their wedding on their respective social media handles. Since then, they have appeared on each other’s Instagram, and Twitter handles. Anushka joined Kohli as he led the Indian team on tours of South Africa, England and Australia throughout 2018. And this World Cup won’t be any different, as, according to reports, the actress will accompany the Indian cricket team captain on the 50-over World Cup tournament.

Anushka to stay alone

However, to help Virat Kohli concentrate on the matches, Anushka will not go to the games with the cricketer. According to reports, the actress will go to stadiums separately. Anushka Sharma will also hire her car. She will also bear all her expenses. The Bollywood actress took the decision considering the considerable media coverage the celebrity couples receive. Shen wants no controversies to arise regarding her and Virat Kohli during the tournament.

The wives of the Indian cricketers have discussed the huge media attention that is bound to be there for the World Cup and both want to keep all distractions at bay during the World Cup, which Virat definitely wants to try and win for India. Both feel the lesser the distraction on match days, the more the mind will only focus on the match,” a source close to the development told an entertainment website.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently leading his side in their last leg of preparation ahead of the World Cup. After a devastating loss in the T20I series, the home side bounced back swiftly to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. The second match of series is later today at the Vidarbha Cricket Association in Nagpur.
