England and New Zealand will take on each other in the final of the World Cup at Lord’s, London on 14th July. New Zealand had stunned India in the semifinal and they would like to come to up with a complete performance in the final of the event. We take a look at New Zealand’s predicted playing XI and analysis.

On the other hand, England will be the favourites to win the World Cup. England has been dominating in the last three matches and they had also defeated New Zealand in the league stage of the tournament. The hosts had won their semifinal against Australia convincingly by eight wickets.

The southpaw batsman can replace Henry Nicholls in the final XI as Nicholls. Munro hasn’t delivered the goods with the bat and he would like to come up with good performance in the final.

Martin Guptill

The right-hander has let his team down with his performances. Guptill has scored only 167 runs in the tournament and he would like to deliver when it matters the most.

Kane Williamson

A lot is going to depend on how Kane Williamson will perform in the final. Williamson has been New Zealand’s best batsman as he has amassed 548 runs in the tournament.

Ross Taylor

The talisman batsman has scored 335 runs in the tournament. Taylor had scored a fine knock of 74 runs in the semifinal and he is going to hold the key.

The southpaw wicketkeeper-batsman hasn’t got going with the bat in the tournament. Hence, he would aim to get runs in the final.

The all-rounder has scored 213 runs in the tournament. Neesham has also scalped 12 wickets in the tourney. Thus, Neesham will like to be at the top of his game in the final.

The right-hander has scored his 174 runs in the competition. Grandhomme will aim to add the finishing touches to the New Zealand total.

The off-spinner had done a brilliant job in the semifinal against India. Santner was economical in his spell and he will play a crucial role in the semifinal.

The gun fast bowler has been the best New Zealand bowler as he has taken 18 wickets. Ferguson has impressed with his brisk pace.
