India has registered yet another series victory and pressing the case for the ”Best Travellers” tag. They have outsmarted Australia in their recent tour, now, bagged a 4-1 series victory against New Zealand. Meanwhile, they used a unique dialogue from the recent movie “URI” ”How’s The Josh” while celebrating their victory.
They have completely outsmarted the hosts to bag a 4-1 victory in the 5-match series. It was a collective performance of the team, as each and every player came good for the team. The series also helped Indians to look out few technical flaws ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019.
India made a great turnaround:
Coming to the final ODI of the match, Indians challenged themselves in the tough conditions by opting to bat first. Unfortunately, their troubles have been exposed again, as they lost 4 wickets for just 18 runs. Meanwhile, Ambati Rayudu and Vijay Shankar used the platform to show their worth for the team.
They batted brilliantly to save the ship by stitching a beautiful 98-run partnership. However, the demon came in the form of running out to dismiss Vijay Shankar. But, Rayudu and Hardik Pandya’s heroics helped India to put 251 on the board.
In reply to the chase, New Zealand batsmen had once again experienced a tough time in the middle. The Indian bowling section bowled with a lot of discipline to make things tough for the hosts. Chahal was the pick of the bowlers.
Earlier, India won the first three games comfortably to seal the series. They have lost the game at Hamilton, in which, India tried out the different combination. However, they have made the required changes to make a turnaround in the final ODI.
All in all, it was quite a tour for the Indian National Cricket Team in New Zealand. They have collected their trophy and will enter into 3-match T20I series with great momentum on their side.
