India vs New Zealand 2019: Watch Hardik Pandya's Reaction After Taking a Simple Catch

India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya was all pumped up after taking a simple catch to dismiss Colin Munro. Pandya kissed the ball and showed his frustration. In fact, the reason behind Pandya’s peculiar celebration was a dropped catch in his previous over. Munro had top-edged the ball but Khaleel Ahmed had bungled a simple catch when Hardik Pandya was the bowler.

Munro was on 60 runs when Ahmed fluffed the catch. However, the southpaw could not make most of the second life as he was dismissed for 72 runs. But the New Zealand opener gave a perfect platform to his side. Munro and his opening partner Tim Seifert added 66 runs in the powerplay overs.

Pandya was frustrated.

Both the openers added an alliance of 80 runs for opening wicket. In fact, Munro showed his intentions from the word go as the southpaw batsman smashed a six on the first ball he faced. The combative left-hander scored five fours and as many sixes in his blistering knock.

Meanwhile, New Zealand has posted 212 runs after Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to put the opposition into bat.  Tim Seifert scored a blistering knock of 43 runs off just 25 balls before his innings was put paid by MS Dhoni’s fast stumping.

Furthermore, Colin de Grandhomme who had scored a blistering fifty in the previous match provided the finishing touches to the New Zealand innings. The right-hander scored a quickfire knock of 30 runs from 16 balls laced with three fours and one six.

Moreover, Daryll Mitchell scored 19 runs from 11 balls. On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav who was drafted in the playing XI for Yuzvendra Chahal scalped two wickets and gave away only 26 runs in his four overs. Furthermore, Khaleel Ahmed and Bhuvneshwar Kumar scalped one wicket each.
