Meanwhile, he receives high praises from the stalwart of the game Brian Lara, who feels Rohit Sharma has already joined Legends category.

Rohit Sharma showed his brilliance on the last night against Windies, where he brought his 4th T20I century to become the only person to do so. He was also exceptional in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2018 and ODI series against Windies as well.

The former Windies great is in all praises for the current captain of Indian team. He heaped praises on Rohit Sharma’s brilliance in tackling the bowlers and his knack of scoring runs on a regular basis.

Further, he also added saying that the flamboyant batsman will easily find a place beside the greats of the game in the white-ball format of the game. Brian Lara is also sure that Rohit will easily make it into any player’s all-time XI as well.

“You look at the guy’s numbers in the 50-overs and T20 game, he is the number one batsman in the world in terms of runs. He is up there with the very best and hence, that’s not even a question,” Brian Lara quoted.

”Rohit Sharma is going to be in any limited-overs team that anyone wants to pick, not just India, but even in the World XI, he’ll be up there with them,” Lara was quoted as saying in News 18.

Well, as Brian Lara said, Rohit Sharma has already made a mark of his own in International cricket. His incredible numbers in the white-ball format will put him easily beside the greats of the game.
