Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant carried on the momentum as both the Indian batsmen looked at ease. Kohli concentrated on picking up the singles on offer whereas Rishabh Pant batted in the way he only knows – that is the in the topmost gear. However, the southpaw combative batsman could not complete his second hundred as he perished when he looked to smash a shot over mid-wicket. India ended the lunch session with 506-5 adding 142 runs for the loss of one wicket.

Instead, the pugnacious batsman got a top edge and was caught at the point position. Meanwhile, it was smooth inning from Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The talisman right-hander scored only seven boundaries in his knock of hundred as he concentrated more on picking singles with a spread field.

India shows no mercy.

On the other hand, Windies bowlers didn’t have any kind of plans to get the better of the Indian batsmen. They are just waiting for a declaration. In fact, Kraigg Brathwaite once again offered a spread field which made the life of Indian batsmen easier.

Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant batted with ease. Pant brought his fifty with a fine six over the square leg boundary as he catapulted his attack on the opposition. The Indian wicketkeeper scored as many as eight boundaries and clobbered four sixes in his blistering knock of 92 runs.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli batted with 100% control as he was not even once beaten by the Windies bowlers. However, it was disappointing to note that Windies didn’t have any kind to plan to trouble the Indian batsmen.

Kohli batted with great temperament as he scored his 24th Test hundred. In fact, the Indian skipper is the second quickest to the landmark as he got there in just 123 innings. Sir Don Bradman is the fastest to the milestone as the master got there in only 66 innings.

Devendra Bishoo could not hold on to a difficult chance of Virat Kohli when he was on 114 runs.
