India vs Windies 2018: Virat Kohli Congratulated India For The Series Win

Team India skipper Virat Kohli congratulated Indian team and his boys as they won the fifth and final match along with the series win by 3-1.

India had played some excellent cricket throughout the series. There has been some exceptional record made by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

However, India had won the first match by eight wickets where Kohli slammed his 36th ODI hundred. After that, Windies made a good comeback, as they managed to draw the second game, and then they win the third match by 43 runs. Kohli was at his peak in all the three games, as he scored three consecutive centuries an entered records book.

Moreover, Virat Kohli also made a record of scoring fastest 10,000 runs. He managed to achieve the feat in the second game at Vizag. Indian skipper was just short of 81 runs when he came to bat after Rohit Sharma lost his wicket. Kohli took 205 innings to achieve the landmark.

Furthermore, Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 33 runs in the final game against Windies. While India was chasing 105 runs, they lost their first wicket as Shikhar Dhawan has to depart in the second over of the match. Earlier in the game, Holder had won the toss and asked the Indians to bowl. A four-wicket haul from Ravindra Jadeja broke the camel’s back, as Windies got all out on a mere 104.

Virat Kohli congratulated Indian team and his boys to win the series. This is the sixth time Kohli is lifting the trophy at home. Indian will tour to Australia for three T20Is, four Tests and three ODIs. He will try to remain the same form and will try to win the series at away matches.
