While Kolkata are placed in the fourth place, Mumbai finds themselves in the fifth. As a result, both the teams will strive for two crucial points at the tournament comes to its business end.

It’s a crucial game for KKR, who continue to blow hot and cold. They need to put their act together and come good as a team. However, Mumbai has finally got themselves going with wins on a trot.

The inability of their batsmen to convert good starts into big scores has hurt has been a major problem for Kolkata. Also, Chris Lynn is yet to fire in this tournament, however, they will back him to find his form. KKR has also struggled with their pace bowling with the overseas seamers going for runs. They will look to solve this and come all guns blazing against MI.

On the other hand, Mumbai have finally got their opening pair going with Evin Lewis coming back to form. They will be keen to continue the winning momentum and go one step closer to the qualification.

Weather Forecast

According to Accuweather, there are high possibilities of rains in the city. However, the heaviest downpour is speculated from 1 pm to 3 pm which is 43 percent to 51 percent along with thunderstorms. Nevertheless, it reduces to 20 percent during the game.

The temperatures will be around 36 Degree Celsius, however, it is likely to go down in the evening. This won’t be a overwhelming news for both the camps as they are desperate for a win.

Moreover, DLS method can come in to play if the rain gods start pouring. One game at the venue, between the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), have already been marred by rain and this might be the second game which can be curtailed.
