IPL 2018: Glenn Maxwell Sold To Delhi Daredevils At 9 Crore

Glenn Maxwell was sold to Delhi Daredevils at a price of Rs 9 Crore. The former captain of Kings XI Punjab, Maxwell attracted the interest of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils.
It were SRH and RR who opened the bid and after his base price went par Rs 5 Crore, RCB and DD too joined the party.
Kings XI Punjab had an option of using their RTM card on him but the franchise decided to go against it.
The Aussie all-rounder has played a total of 57 IPL games in which he has scored 1228 runs at a strike rate of 164.39. He has also taken 11 wickets. He has represented Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab.
