IPL 2019: Abhishek Bachchan Wants Yuvraj Singh To Lit Up Wankhede Stadium For Mumbai Indians

Recently, the Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is pretty much interested in sports has celebrated his birthday. Across the nation, wishes floured in for him. In one of those, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh also took a time to send their greetings, Meanwhile, Bachchan wished Yuvraj to lit up Wankhede Stadium while playing for Mumbai Indians.

Digging into their tweet to each other, firstly, it was Yuvraj Singh, who wished Abhishek Bachchan on his birthday. In reply, Abhishek quoted that he can’t wait to see the stylish southpaw whacking the balls out of the Wankhede stadium.

”Just in time happy bday junior lots of love and best wishes always,” Yuvraj Singh tweeted. To which, Bachchan replied ”Thank you so much Yuvi. Can’t wait to see you light up Wankhede.”

After a poor show in Indian Premier League 2018, Kings XI Punjab franchise has left out Yuvraj Singh for the upcoming edition of IPL. His poor form in the domestic season has left none of the franchises interested in picking him. However, Mumbai Indians showed faith on the ICC World Cup 2011 hero of Indian National Cricket Team.

He went unsold in the first round but later, Mumbai Indians recalled his name and bought at a base price of INR 1 Crore. The experts termed that it was the greatest steal in the history of IPL auctions, as everyone aware of Yuvraj’s calibre.
