It seems like Delhi Capitals came up with strong plans for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. They have changed the whole setup in the background and also acquired quite a few analysts to the side. Unlike earlier, this time, they have been pretty decent in their buying, as per the needs of the team. Meanwhile, we figured out likely Playing XI for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2019.

The Gabbar is back to his state in the Indian Premier League. He has been transferred from Sunrisers Hyderabad to represent his state team. It has been a brilliant pick for Delhi, as Dhawan got the great ingredients in him to deliver the goods. He can be the match-winner on any day for his side. Besides that, Dhawan is in dangerous form with his willow as well.

2. Prithvi Shaw:

The young lad surprised one and all with his incredible batting during the IPL 2018 edition. In a short span, he delivered the goods by knocking the runs at a great strike rate for Delhi. Most probably, he would once again take the role to join Shikhar Dhawan at the opening slot.

3. Colin Munro:

Here it would be a tie between Colin Munro and Ingram. However, Munro might get the nod, as he got the experience in playing in India and also carrying a great form. He can also be used as the part-time bowling option if needed for the team. He will keep on fighting with Ingram to secure his place in the playing XI.

4. Shreyas Iyer:

The captain of Delhi Capitals was quote good in the previous edition. He carried the onus on him by knocking the runs on a consistent basis. Iyer will once again be the cynosure of the eyes during the upcoming edition of IPL. Besides his batting, Shreyas Iyer will be tested with his captaincy during the pressure situations of the game.

5. Rishabh Pant:

Rishabh Pant had a great IPL season last year. He was their consistent run-scorer in the tournament to make things happen for their side. But, unfortunately, he never got the required support from the other players in the troop, which saw the wrong side of things for Delhi. He will once again be their trump card for the upcoming edition.

6. Hanuma Vihari:

They might go with Hanuma Vihari in the middle-order department, as he is in a brilliant form. He developed the skills to whack the ball when it requires and also a useful off-spinner option for the skipper.

7. Chris Morris:

The lanky all-rounder from South Africa will take the finisher role for the team. Further, he will also be their fast bowler during the crunch situations of the game. Morris has been retained by the team despite his unavailability in the previous year. It would be interesting to see how Morris would approach IPL 2019.

8. Axar Patel:

The newbie in the Delhi circuit will take the number 7 role for Delhi. He can be the useful batsman down the order and also the economical bowler. Delhi would hope him to deliver the goods during the crunch situations of the game.

The leg-spinner impressed everyone with his brilliant all-around skills in the previous edition of IPL, which made him be retained as well. The management would once again hope him deliver the goods. Besides bowling, Rahul will also be a useful candidate in whacking the balls out of the park.

10. Kagiso Rabada:

The premium fast bowler from South Africa will take the fast bowling slot for Delhi. He can be the wrecker-in-chief this time for Capitals. With South African players being available for the whole tournament, Rabada will carry major plans of Delhi.

The left-handed fast bowler was the star for Delhi in IPL 2018. He delivered goods on a regular basis to make things happen in the bowling department. But their failure in the batting section saw the other side of the result. Well, he would once again be their go-to man this year.
