The cricketer will be out of action from the upcoming series against Bangladesh as well. Many expected Jasprit Bumrah to return to action for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh starting from  November 14 in Indore.

However, the management doesn’t want to risk with him keeping the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia in mind. The stakeholders have taken a slow and steady approach for Jasprit Bumrah and the illustrious fast bowler will only return to action next year.

However, in a bid to regain fitness, Bumrah has started his training at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Bumrah, who has been exceptional for India since his debut, has also hit the gym to regain his fitness. Recently, he shared a photo from one of the gym sessions stating that he will be back in action soon.

“Coming soon,” Jasprit Bumrah tweeted.

Meanwhile, India, who are at the top of the points table with 240 points in the ICC World Test Championship, will hope to extend their lead against Bangladesh. The pace unit has done exceptionally well to cover up the absence of Jasprit Bumrah.

The management will hope for another stellar performance from the likes of Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav to keep the home side in high stead against the Tigers.
