Former England skipper Michael Vaughan posted a hilarious photograph ahead of the second One-day International (ODI of the three-match series at an iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 14 (Saturday).

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli-led India dominated the proceedings in the first outing to go 1-0 up in the series.

A brilliant partnership between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli saw India home convincingly in the 41st over. While Kohli departed on 75 runs, Rohit smashed yet another unbeaten century (137).

Top-order batter Rohit looked in prime touch while piercing the gaps with ease. He dominated the bowlers coming down the track and punching through the covers on backfoot.

Kohli also didn’t lag behind playing a couple of gorgeous drive through the cover region.

The form of these two swashbuckling batters will certainly boost the visitors going in the next game.

However, it was Kuldeep Yadav, who did the early damage. He bulldozed English batting after they got off to a flier. Early on, Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow smashed the ball at will. Since the departure of Roy in the 11th over, India took total control of the game.

Kuldeep’s was spectacular with the ball returning with six wickets giving away only 25 runs in his full quota. The English batters struggled to pick Kuldeep except for Jos Buttler, who topped the batting chart with 53 runs.

As a result, the hosts managed to put only 268 runs which India overhauled with nine overs in hand.
