Kings XI Punjab batting coach Wasim Jaffer has asked Australia star Mitchell Starc to join the IPL franchise in a hilarious manner. His latest tweet is just a further addition to the string of popular meme-inspired tweets he has posted on the social media platforms in recent weeks.

The former India batsman has developed a knack of associating any event in the game with popular memes and is fast becoming one of the most popular cricketers on Twitter. And he was at it again on Tuesday when Mitchell Starc joined Sydney Sixers ahead of the upcoming season of the Big Bash League.

Sydney Sixers, on Monday, secured the return of the left-arm pacer for the 10th edition of the Big Bash League. Mitchell Starc has not played in the BBL since 2014-15. The Sydney-based outfit signed up the pacer after Josh Hazlewood and Steve Smith ruled themselves out of playing for the defending champions.

With Mitchell Starc agreeing to playing in BBL, several fans have started saying that the pacer might agree to play in the next edition of the IPL too. While only time will tell whether the Australian agrees to play in IPL 2021 or not but Wasim Jaffer has already given him an offer.

The former cricketer posted a meme on Twitter and offered the fast-bowler to join the Punjab-based franchise. Wasim Jaffer used a dialogue from popular Hindi web series, Mirzapur to extend his offer to Starc.

Here is the tweet from Wasim Jaffer:

One of the best pacers in the world across formats, Starc has only played in two IPL seasons in 2014 and 2015. He had played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in both the seasons. Kolkata Knight Riders had signed him up for the 2018 edition but he had to pull out due to an injury.
