The young all-rounder of Australia Sophie Molineux’s lovely gesture wins hearts on Sunday following her heartwarming gesture to the specially-abled kid. The all-rounder, who got a pure heart, gave her medal to the girl on a wheelchair following Australia’s victory in the T20 World Cup final against India at the MCG. She further gave her autograph to the girl — to make it memorable for her.

As soon as Megan Schutt dismissed Poonam Yadav to seal the memorable victory, celebrations started for the Aussies as they were crowned T20 world champions for the record fifth time.

On the contrary, the Indian players were down in tears, Australian players celebrated wildly. However, there was a moment by Sophie that won hearts.

There was a special fan waiting for her favourite cricketers and Sophie went on to meet the fan. While the fan looked extremely happy by watching Sophie coming over for a photograph, the Aussie cricketer stole the show as she gave the special fan her T20 World Cup gold medal.

In the video, the Aussie spinner can be seen putting her World Cup medal around the young fan’s neck and then sitting down to pose with her. The fangirl is ecstatic and it is clearly visible on her face. It is certain, the fan would treasure the memento for the rest of her life.

Opting to bat first, Australia were propelled by swashbuckling half-centuries by openers Alyssa Healy (75) and Beth Mooney (78 not out) to register 184 for four before their bowlers, led by Megan Schutt (4/18) and Jess Jonassen (3/20), put up a disciplined effort to win their record fifth title.

In reply, India never looked In control of the chase, as Australian bowlers never allowed the Indian batters to settle in the middle.

Apart from Schutt spell, Sophie had a decent day in the office as she got rid of the dangerous Smriti Mandhana with her very first ball. She finished with figures of 4-0-21-1.
