Sourav Ganguly Feels A Lot Of Teams Are In Contention To Win ICC World Cup 2019

With the ICC World Cup just a few days away from the start, the analysts and former cricketers are letting their predictions out regarding the outcome of the event. The latest to join the bandwagon is India’s legendary cricketer Sourav Ganguly, who believes that a lot of teams are in contention for the grand event.

Of late, the Indian team is performing exceptionally in all conditions. They have got the best batting lineup, which is equally being backed up by the bowling department. The area for improvement is pretty low, which would certainly put them on top of the chart. Besides that, England, Australia, Pakistan are also in a great form alongside Windies.

The former skipper of Indian National Cricket Team quoted that the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019 is going to be the strongest world cup ever. He believes that every team got enough requirements to make things fall in place for their respective sides.

Further, Ganguly quoted saying that the better team, which tackles the pressure and perform on the given day will win the grand event. He feels that there are quite a few teams this time around, who plays brilliantly in English conditions. Ganguly also cited that Sri Lanka also got a chance to win.

“It’s difficult to pick a winning recipe, you just have to play well. This will probably be the strongest World Cup because everybody plays everybody”, Ganguly was quoted as saying by PTI.

“A lot of strong teams this time. India, Australia England, West Indies, New Zealand, Pakistan play very well in England. After winning against South Africa, I hope Sri Lanka turn it around. What matters is how you play in the World Cup.  India goes with very good form with the way they played in Australia,” he signed off.

Well, as Sourav Ganguly said, the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019 would certainly be the strongest ever. All the teams found their balance and working towards the grand event. All in all, it is going to be an exciting tournament for obvious reasons.
