Stuart Broad has always been a special cricketer for England, especially, in Test format of the game. Alongside James Anderson, Stuart Broad delivered many victories for the team across the globe. Currently, he is having a great time with the team in the Ashes series, where he is delivering the goods on a consistent basis.

Broad helped his team return the favour with one of the most devastating spells of 8 for 15 at Nottingham in Ashes at home. Leading the attack, he notched up 21 wickets at 20.90 to help England beat Australia 3-2 in 2015. Now, once again, he is delivering the same to see his side in the winning position, however, batting department isn’t shining much to compliment his performances.

“It’s quite exciting with this Test Championship,” Broad said in Manchester on Monday. It doesn’t feel like the Ashes series is the new cycle anymore, it feels like that World Test Championship Final is the new cycle. I know a few of the older players are looking more towards that than an Ashes series.”

Stuart Broad is hungry to win games for his country and wants to play the final of the championship in 2021. Broad believes that he isn’t tailing off even at this stage of his career.

“At 33 that’s a great place to be because I’m hungry to keep playing. But I also know you can’t look too far ahead in international cricket. I feel I have reinvented myself in the last six or seven weeks on the international stage and that’s come from hunger and drive to get better. That’s encouraging sign at 33, I’m not tailing off.”

Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out. The flamboyant fast bowler is already delivering goods on a regular basis. For now, England would hope him to continue in the same manner for a remaining couple of Test matches.
