I am not a selfish person – Temba Bavuma

Speaking of the loss, Temba Bavuma quoted that he is one of the culprits behind the loss, as he never got the momentum to help his reach a big tally on the board. He also blamed big hitters in the team, whose failure made South Africa is restricted to 49 instead of touching 180 runs on the board.

“They are a formidable team but I do not think they are unbeatable side,” South Africa batsman Bavuma said in the post-match press conference. ‘I do not see myself as a selfish person. I try and always put the team ahead of all personal ambitions. It is always about the team,” he said.

“At the half-way stage, I was thinking 180 at least and that would have been a very competitive score. I think we were just not able to get going and I am also to be blamed as I was not really able to get the momentum and all the other big hitters,” Bavuma said.

Well, Temba Bavuma showed that he got the guts to tack;e the bowlers on the International stage. However, his young side couldn’t quite live up to the expectations. The final T20I will be played on Sunday in Bengaluru, which is a home ground for Virat Kohli in IPL. With short boundaries, one can expect a run-feast.
