A stunning, scarcely believable effort by Chris Jordan brought an end to what was an incredible knock by Suryakumar Yadav in the ongoing series-decider between India and England.

It all happened on the second ball of the 14th when Suryakumar Yadav (32 off 17 balls) danced down the track and smashed Adil Rashid towards the deep midwicket region.

It looked as if Yadav was going another boundary off Adil Rashid but for Chris Jordan’s superman effort.

The Barbados-born English international plucked the catch with one hand and lobbed it straight to Jason Roy before crossing the boundary rope.

The catch by Jordan brought an end to a brilliant cameo by Suryakumar Yadav, who smoked two sixes and three fours in just 17 deliveries to ensure that India continued with the momentum that the opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli had given with a 94-run stand in just 9 overs.

Yadav announced his arrival with back-to-back sixes off Adil Rashid before he laid into Chris Jordan as he smoked him for three consecutive boundaries courtesy of his trademark scoop shot.

At the time of writing, India has rollicked their way to 224/2 in 16 overs with Virat Kohli unbeaten on 52-ball 80 and Hardik Pandya on 17-ball 39.
