Former Australian pacer, Shaun Tait has opened up on the Virat Kohli-Steve Smith debate and said that he would prefer Virat Kohli as the better batsman. Tait said that Virat’s dominance across the three formats makes him a better batsman in world cricket. Smith and Virat have been two of the most iconic batsmen the world of cricket has ever seen. It is almost impossible to stop them, and every bowling line-up in the world fears to face them.

Both have had an impeccable record as batsmen and have been setting new milestones in every game that they play. They are a part of the fab-four in world cricket at the moment. Virat Kohli Has Been Mr. Consistent

If we look at consistency and cross-format batting, Virat Kohli clearly comes out on top. He has been the best batsman across all formats now and has been extremely consistent with the bat. On top of that, he has the responsibility of leading India in all the three formats of the game. This goes on to show how Virat’s batting has improved with the added responsibility on his shoulders.
