Virat Kohli Launches Super V Series Based On Himself

It has been a sensational ride for Virat Kohli in International Cricket. The flamboyant batsman has grown from strength to strength to make things fall in place for him. Virat Kohli is one of those few cricketers, who enjoyed great success across the formats and also across all the age-group tournaments. Now, he became so successful that an animated series of him is being launched by himself.

The makers came up with a unique thought of letting the story of Virat Kohli go into all-age groups with an animated series. His story will be aired on Star Sports Network, Star Plus and Disney from November 5. The story will be regarding a 15-year old kid thriving for success.

In detail, the story will see a young kid trusting his abilities and fighting against all the odds to make things fall in place. Virat Kohli is super excited with his animated superhero avatar Super V. The animation series will feature Kohli as a teen superhero named Super V.

During the press launch of the show, Kohli turned the clock back as he read out an inspiring letter that he had written to his 15-year old self. Wishing his teenage self, Kohli advised him on the importance of seeking his passion for the game and to follow his heart.

Speaking at the launch Kohli said, “It is essential to have a complete upbringing with a good balance of academics and sports. As a teenager, inculcating values such as discipline, leadership and integrity, prove to be stepping stones in developing an individual’s overall personality. Everyone would like a chance to go back in time to probably redo or correct a few things.

“On that note, I had the opportunity to connect with Super ‘V’ and give him a little clarity in thought. In today’s world, children are always looking up to superheroes for inspiration. And also, I believe Super ‘V’ aims to send out the right message to young viewers. I am ecstatic to be a part of this concept and to be associated with Star.”

Every episode of the 13-part series will come with a promise of humour, action and drama. Kohli will conclude every episode with a message to his young fans summarising the key takeaway from the story. Well, it would be interesting see how the episode will go out to the public.
