Rajasthan Royals players might not be having too much on the field this season but the same cannot be said about off the field. The inaugural winners of the IPL are struggling to do well this season and are languishing at the seventh spot in the points table. They had managed just 2 wins from their opening 8 games which made the franchise sack Ajinkya Rahane as the skipper. Steve Smith then took over the captaincy and has led the team to two wins in 3 games.

In their last game, the Royals beat Kolkata Knight Riders to keep alive their slim playoff hopes. Chasing 176, the Royals were reeling at 98 for 5 but eventually chased down the total thanks to some fine knocks from Riyan Parag and Jofra Archer.  And it looks like the new-found positivity under Smith’s captaincy has lifted the spirits in the Royals camp as their recent tweet suggested.

On Saturday, the Royals posted a tweet where the players were seen enjoying a game of table-tennis. But unlike the regular game of table-tennis, there was a twist in the tale. Head coach Paddy Upton explained the rules beforehand, saying that the winning team would hit the players of the losing team with balls. Additionally, the players of the losing team will have their shirts off while being hit.

Here is a clip of that hilarious game in the Rajasthan Royals camp:

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals will next take on Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday. The Royals have won their last contest and will be looking to make the most of the momentum against the Sunrisers who lost their last game. With 4 wins from 11 games, Rajasthan Royals will need to win all their remaining games and hope for the other results to go their way in order to make it to the playoffs.
