Watch: Ravindra Jadeja Trolls Harsha Bhogle During Interview After Match-Winning Knock In Cuttack

Ravindra Jadeja, on Sunday, once again proved his batting talent as he played a fine knock to take India over the line in the third ODI against West Indies in Cuttack. The allrounder scored an unbeaten 39 off just 31 balls as India chased down 315 to clinch the three-match series. He walked out to bat when India were in a bit of trouble.

The Men in Blue suffered a min-collapse and were reeling at 228 for 5 from 188 for 2 when Ravindra Jadeja joined skipper Virat Kohli in the middle. He turned out to be the perfect partner for well-set Kohli as the two took India on the brink of the win by adding 58 runs for the sixth wicket. Keemo Paul ended the stand when he castled Kohli for 85.

There was still a lot to be done as the hosts needed 30 from 23 balls with no more specialist batsman in the middle. But Jadeja held firm from one end and found a good partner in Shardul Thakur as the two took India over the line. Thakur played a fine cameo of 17 runs from just 6 balls to crush West Indies’ hopes.

Jadeja trolls Bhogle:

As soon as Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur took India over the line, veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle came out to interview them and the interview was really hilarious thanks to the left-handed batsman. As usual, Jadeja was cool and calm with his replies which left the fans in splits. At first, Bhogle started questioning the allrounder in Hindi but the latter answered in English and the commentator was quick to switch to the player’s preferred language.

And as if that was not enough, Ravindra Jadeja trolled Bhogle once again during the brief interview. Bhogle asked whether the players also calculate runs and balls in their minds just like the commentators. In reply, Jadeja said:

“They are showing on the screen. So it is easy to calculate.”
