You Are A Man Who Will Not Be Moved By All The Sweet Wishes: Sakshi Wishes MS Dhoni On His Birthday

Former India captain MS Dhoni turned 39 on Tuesday and as expected, wishes have poured in for him from all the corners. Fans as well as cricketers took to their social media accounts to wish MS Dhoni on his special day. But among the thousands of birthday messages, the one that stands out is from none other than his wife Sakshi.

She took to Instagram to post a special message for her husband on his birthday. In her sweet message, Sakshi wrote that while MS Dhoni is one year older, he has become ‘smarter and sweeter’. She also hilariously pointed out that the veteran cricketer would not be ‘moved by all the sweet wishes’.

“Marking the date you were born, another year older, greyed a bit more, become smarter and sweeter. You are a man who will not be moved by all the sweet wishes and gifts.

“Let’s celebrate another year of your life by cutting a cake and blowing the candles!

“Happy Birthday, Husband!!” Sakshi wrote on Instagram along with a series of pictures of MS Dhoni playing with his dogs.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni has not played a competitive game since the World Cup semifinal last year. As soon as the tournament ended, he took a sabbatical from the game which was supposed to end in the IPL. However, the BCCI has suspended the league indefinitely in the light of the pandemic.

His future with Team India depends pretty much on how he performs in the IPL. Head coach Ravi Shastri has already stated that the wicketkeeper-batsman could return to the team if he does well in the IPL.
