Yuvraj Singh Denies Reports Of Him Acting In A Web Series

Following rumours of him making his debut in acting, the stylish southpaw of the Indian National Cricket Team Yuvraj Singh clears the air with a stern statement on Wednesday. He conveyed that the news regarding him is incorrect and wants media to correct it.

Several media terminals on Tuesday published that Yuvraj Singh is set to star in a web series along with his brother Zoravar Singh and wife Hazel Keech. As per the report, the web series is financed by Assam-based Dream House Productions and Yuvi’s mother Shabnam Singh will also be associated with the project.

Yuvraj Singh asked media to erase the rumours that were aimed after him. He clarified that his wife Hazel Keech and Younger brother Zoravar will be starring in the web series.

The former cricketer took to Twitter to respond and stated, “Just to put some things in to correct perspective with regards to the recent news on me making a debut into web series is factually incorrect, the web series features my younger brother and not me. Request all my friends in the media to take corrective measures on the same. Thank You”

The rumours came as a pleasant surprise for some section of the fans, as many thought Yuvraj was destined for acting, post his retirement. Especially, for being closely associated with many from the Bollywood industry since his playing days.

Yuvraj Singh retired from international cricket last year, having made his final appearance for India in 2017. He had since been featuring in multiple franchise leagues, which include the T10 league in Dubai and the Global T20 League in Canada.

He most recently represented Gilchrist’s XI in the Bushfire Cricket Bash, which was aimed at raising funds for the Australian bushfire relief. Yuvraj is also set to feature in the Road Safety World Series, where he will play for the Indian team led by legendary former batsman Sachin Tendulkar.
