"Jasprit Bumrah is unbelievable bowler" - Ben Stokes makes revelation on plans to tackle India pacer

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has proven his brilliance in the first two Tests of the five-match series against England. Bumrah is currently the leading wicket-taker of the series and has picked up 15 wickets at an average of 10.66. Bumrah is currently the number one bowler in ICC Test rankings and has picked up 9 wickets in the Vizag Test due to which he was also named the Player of the Match.

While the England batsmen have struggled to play against Jasprit Bumrah, England captain Ben Stokes while speaking in the press conference ahead of the third IND vs ENG Test match, Stokes was asked about their team plans while playing against Bumrah. Replying to the question, the English captain stated that the Three Lions don’t have any plans of playing against the lead Indian pacer.

Ben Stokes added that the England batsman will have to find their own ways of playing against Jasprit Bumrah as they have done against the Indian spinners so far. Stokes also praised Bumrah and believes that he is an unbelievable bowler.

Ben Stokes said, “No not really. He’s proven that for a very long time and has performed really well in the two games. Jasprit Bumrah is an unbelievable bowler. I think everyone has got their own way of trying to deal with Bumrah but we do have to score runs off him as well and that’s what we’ll try to do. But when that doesn’t work you just have to give credit to the bowler and Jasprit’s been outstanding the first two games.”
