KKR vs SRH: Revealed – Who are the impact players nominated by KKR and SRH in match 3 of IPL 2024

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) open their campaign in the seventeenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) by taking on each other. The KKR vs SRH match will be the third game of IPL 2024 and is scheduled to take place at the Eden Gardens.

Both teams had a disappointing campaign last season as they missed out on the playoffs. KKR finished at the seventh spot in the points table with six wins and eight losses. On the other hand, SRH finished at the tenth spot in the ten-team competition after managing to win just four of their 14 league games.

They have not really managed to perform well in recent seasons and will be looking to do well this season. While KKR have not won the title since winning it in 2014, SRH’s last title victory came way back in 2016. With an eye on the title, both teams will be looking to make a winning start to their respective campaign.

KKR vs SRH: Impact players

Talking about the toss, SRH’s newly-appointed captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bowl first. Speaking after the flip of the coin went his way, the Australia star said: “We gonna have a bowl, wicket looks pretty good. Jansen, Klaasen and Markram are the other three. This is my first game for Sunrisers, it’s been awesome in the camp to the lead-up and the confidence is really high in the group.”

On the other hand, KKR captain Shreyas Iyer said: ” Feel fantastic (talking about his recovery from back injury). I have been training well and played a few games as well. The spinners have been bowling tremendously over the past few seasons and all of them are lethal in their own way. I see a bit of dryness on this wicket and hopefully it will help them.”
