Revealed – Who are the impact players nominated by RCB and KKR in match 10 of IPL 2024

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be up against each other in a mouth-watering clash. It is the tenth game of the ongoing IPL 2024 and is being played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Last year, both teams played two games against each other and KKR won both contests. They won the first game at Eden Gardens by 81 runs before winning the second one in Bengaluru by 21 runs. KKR will be looking to extend their winning against RCB while the latter will be keen to turn things around.

In the ongoing IPL 2024, RCB began their journey with a heavy six-wicket loss against defending champions Chennai Super Kings. However, the Bengaluru-based outfit bounced back quickly and won their second game against Punjab Kings to open their account in the tournament.

On the other hand, KKR have played just one game so far and ended up on the winning side in that contest. They faced Sunrisers Hyderabad in their first game of the tournament and won it by four runs.

RCB vs KKR: Impact players

KKR captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bowl first. Speaking at the toss, KKR captain Shreyas Iyer said: “We are going to bowl first. Had a brief chat with the curator, she was like the ball will spin as well. (Morale) It is fantastic, everyone is in high spirits. We have to carry forward the same momentum. It is important to be in the present. My role is to play an anchor role.”

“It’s always good to have a lethal bowling line-up. It is important to stay in the present. We have to see to it that we capitalize on the start. The bowling – Anukul comes in. I am seriously confused. There are two teams given to me,” he added.

RCB captain Faf du Plessis said: “The same. It’s a fresh wicket, looks a good wicket, you have to see how it plays in the first innings. It’s important to close games early in the season. All the great crickets adapt, it’s important to assess the conditions. We love the support and atmosphere. Same team”
