Bangladesh vs New Zealand Match Prediction, 3rd T20I

Bangladesh vs New Zealand Match Prediction, 3rd T20I. New Zealand have lost two consecutive T20 matches in the ongoing five-match T20 series against Bangladesh. They were bundled out for just 60 runs in the first game, losing the match by 7 wickets. In the recent T20I played on Friday, New Zealand fell short of 4 runs to a 141-run target set by Bangladesh.
The Blackcaps will face Bangladesh in the third T20 international on Sunday. This is a must-win game for the visitors as another defeat would lead to an embarrassing series defeat.
Tom Latham played an outstanding knock in the last game. He scored 65 runs off 49 balls and almost won the game for the side. However, the lack of contribution from other senior members such as Colin de Grandhomme and Henry Nicholls led them fall short of the target. The duo needs to step up to the plate in a must-win encounter on Sunday. The openers failed to start well in both games.
However, you can’t blame the youngsters given that they are playing their debut series in sub-continent conditions. It will be interesting if New Zealand makes a change at the top of the order.
The spinners have been outstanding in both games. Rachin Ravindra picked three wickets in the last game, while Ajaz Patel and McConchie picked one wicket apiece. The seamers, however, have gone for runs and should look to improve.
On the other hand, Bangladesh would be brimming with confidence at the moment. They have managed to win both the games they have played thus far. Mohammad Niam and Liton Das gave them a good start in the last game and the team would be hoping the duo to continue their good form. Shakib (12 off 7) and Rahim (0 of 1) had forgettable outings with the bat but that shouldn’t be a thing to worry about.
Mahmuddulah played a vital 37-run knock in the last game. With runs coming from both top and lower order, Bangladesh would be confident of another win on Sunday.
With the ball, Shakib Al Hasan leads the chart with 4 wickets to his name. Mahedi Hasan and Nasum Ahmed too have picked 3 wickets each. Mustafizur has made great use of his cutters and has been brilliant at the death. He has 3 wickets in 2 games at an average of 15.67.
