Karachi Kings captain Babar Azam had lauded Lahore Qalandars’ captain Shaheen Afridi said that his battle with the left-arm pacer in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a thrilling proposition. The two will be gearing for each other as their teams are ready to clash in the ongoing PSL 2022 edition.

Shaheen Afridi is the most recent product from the long line history of Pakistan producing amazing talents in the fast bowling department which has previously unearthed gems like Fazal Mohammed, Imran Khan, Sarfaraz Nawaz, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar, and many others since their debut in 1952.

Afridi recently played a huge role in Pakistan claiming a historic first-ever win over India in World Cup history when he removed the Indian top three batters- Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli- in their most recent encounter in the T20 World Cup 2022, which helped the Men in Green post a 10-wicket win, their first-ever over the Men in Blue in ICC World events.
