American Indigos release the squad for Global Power Cricket League

In terms of global popularity, cricket is second only to soccer with around 2.5 billion fans following the game. The growth of cricket in the US was limited since a long time as Baseball is more popular in the country. In recent times ,cricket in United States have garnered more attention globally with the introduction of Major Cricket League and series of investments for the development of the sport in the nation .
Global Power Cricket League is providing cricket fans a lot of buzz and excitement before the inaugural edition starts on 2nd October 2022 to be held in New Delhi, India .In a first ,a T20 team from the United States will participate in India,taking part in the GPCL T20 League. The country will recieve a major boost as the experience will bolster the growth and development of cricket in the country .United States would be hosting the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup in 2024 . The squad for American Indigos was announced for the forthcoming GPCL T20.

The squad will be lead by experienced former West Indies cricketer , Narsingh Deonarine,who has the experience of 18 Tests ,31 ODIs and 8 T20Is along with Timil Patel, current T20I International for USA.The squad also includes ,Mario Ramprasad,of Indian Origin who is excited to come to India after three generations.
