On Saturday (30th January), Sydney Sixers will compete against Perth Scorchers in the Qualifier of the Big Bash League 2020/21 (BBL 10) at Manuka Oval (Canberra). It will be their third meeting of this season while both teams have already managed to beat each other once in this season.

They finished the BBL 10 league stage as the best two teams. While Sydney Sixers got 36 points in 14 matches and finished as the points-table topper, Perth Scorchers just finished behind of them with 32 points in 14 matches.

The defending champions Sydney Sixers managed to claim nine victories in the league stage of this season while they suffered only five defeats.

Josh Philippe, Jordan Silk and James Vince are the strongest names in their batting list. While Philippe has scored 454 runs in 14 innings, Silk and Vince have scored 365 and 344 runs respectively. Philippe has scored three fifties, including one nervous-ninety (95), Vince has scored two half-centuries and Silk has hit is once.

Also, Daniel Hughes and Daniel Christian have scored 297 and 252 runs respectively with the help of two half-centuries each. Meanwhile, Moises Henriques recently joined the side and has scored 137 runs in three innings, including one half-century.

But they have remarkably made a comeback as they have ultimately won eight games in the league stage of this tournament, while they only suffered two more defeats since their early bad run in this tournament.

Colin Munro is their leading run-scorer in this tournament with 411 runs, including four half-centuries, out of which three came in consecutive innings. Also, Jason Roy has scored 352 runs while Josh Inglis has scored 322 runs. Moreover, Liam Livingstone and Mitche Marsh have scored 289 and 253 runs respectively.
