Fans on Twitter reacted after West Indies Cricket Team thumped India by 8 wickets in the series decider fifth T20I at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida to win the series by the margin of 3-1. This is the first bilateral series win for West Indies in 17 years against India.

Asked to bat first, India had a dreadful start with the bat as they lost Yashasvi Jaiswal (5) and Shubman Gill (9) inside the first three overs. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma (27) tried to bail the team out of trouble and to some extent they did the same, stitching 49 runs partnership.

Once Tilak Varma was back in the hut, Indian wickets fell like a pack of cards and were under a lot of pressure. But Suryakumar Yadav held the one end and despite the wicket being slow, he hit some lusty blows and smashed a vital half-century in the all-important game for the team.

Suryakumar Yadav smashed 61 runs before Axar Patel played a vital knock of 13 runs that powered India to a total of 165 runs. For West Indies, Romario Shepherd shined with the ball as he picked four wickets and broke the backbone of the Indian team.

While chasing the target, West Indies had a poor start as Arshdeep Singh removed Kyle Mayers early but after that, Brandon King and Nicholas Pooran took the Indian bowlers to the cleaners and smashed them all over the park to take the game away from the opposition.

While Pooran ended with the knock of 47 runs, Brandon King remained unbeaten on 85 runs to take his team to the series win against India. Shai Hope also chipped in with 22 run-knock as West Indies completed a magnificent 8-wicket win to win by the margin of 3-2.
